I have worked as a freelance translator, proofreader and copyeditor since 2001 and have lived in the UK since 1996.

I am bilingual (English and Danish). I grew up in Canada and Denmark and have a First Class BA and an MA in Literary Translation with Distinction from the University of East Anglia.

I work regularly for many translation agencies in Denmark and Britain, and have translated, proofread and copyedited thousands of texts, including several books.

The kinds of text I have worked with include brochures, ads, websites, technical manuals, contracts and academic papers and novels. I am able to adapt to the stylistic needs of different texts and I translate with care, fluency and a real sense of linguistic nuance.
